With music as a channel and instrument for manifesting the wonderful process of inspiration and creation, Swiss artist Tiina Soé presents a substantial and select musical offering.

Her musical work evidences an intense attraction to the performing arts, felt since her childhood when she ventured into dance, music, and theater, later reaffirming her passion through significant professional academic training at the University of the Arts,

Faculty of Music Winterthur Zürich (Winterthur, Switzerland), and at the University of the Arts, Faculty of Music Lucerne (Lucerne, Switzerland), where she graduated with a Master’s in Piano Performance and Pedagogy and a “Master of Arts” degree in 2003 and 2006.

Since 2002, her artistic and professional vocation has allowed her to develop as a pianist, singer, harpist, arranger, soloist, composer, choir director, répétiteur pianist, teacher, and university professor, among other roles.

In 2015, she began her harp studies under the initial instruction of Magister Tatyana Makeyenko, harpist of the Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra, continuing with self-directed learning. In 2017, she won a merit-based competition to become the harpist and pianist of the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra.

Currently, Tiina Soé performs extensively both as a member of the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra in seasonal concerts and as an independent artist on various private and public stages.

Her great interest in composition keeps her in a constant process of creation. She is currently dedicated to the successor work of her successful composition “Luz y Sombra,” a fusion of pop, jazz, bossa nova, Argentine tango, and classical music, which premiered on December 2, 2022, with the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Augusto Carrión. This work also led her to perform as a guest soloist with the Loja Symphony Orchestra on March 10, 2023, under the direction of Maestro Iñigo Pírfano, and with the Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra on July 21, under the baton of Maestro Iñigo Pírfano.
